breakfast was fantastic. Elga (??) in the kitchen and Margali and Paola at the front desk were very friendly. Rooms were nice, as were the bathrooms. Good location.
thought I read that the pool was heated?? Was very cold when I went in (es no grande problema, pero). Also, restaurant wasn't open at night...not

The hotel is cheap and it is very good value for money . It islocated at the limit of the San Telmo, so it's situation is not bad, though on a noisy boulevard, if you plan to leave your windows open.
The rooms are tiny and not very clean

The units were brand-new with comfy bed. Nice touch to have a private safe, a mini bar, and central heating. The services are friendly, including a nice pool. The atmosphere is elegant;))

Location: the hotel was close enough to the oldest districts in BA, the centre of San Telmo, and a constant stream of city buses. It also was very close to the main square of San Telmo.

My days started with a delightful breakfast and I had access to an outdoor pool and a bar with tapas and wines. The accommodating staff made me feel at home.
It's such a shame that the lift didn't come with a disco ball and a DJ, would have made the elevator rides much more enjoyable.

Stayed here because our accom was overbooked, was a good find. Staff spoke good english and were helpful in finding places of intrest. Breakfast was good, if a little on the sweet side. Nice fresh fruit, good coffee, only thing it lacked was fresh eggs to order. If you stay here you must eat at Don Ernesto's on Carlos Calvo near the Plaza, excellent food, value for money, Great steak, and the staff are awesome, especially the Crazy Big Russian...
the main road is a little noisy so ask for a room at the back. Although in San Telmo the main road looks a little dodgy though we had no problems, felt safe walking around even at night.

I loved the value for my money at Ribera Sur. The room was spacious and comfortable, with soft sheets and a nice bathroom. The location was great, just a couple of blocks from Defensa and easy to get anywhere in San Telmo. The staff were cute and very helpful.
The breakfast could be improved with more variety.

Location good for San Telmo market and La Boca
Located on busy main road. Room was extremely smally and on main rooad so extremely noisy - had to pay $50 a night to upgrade to a normal sized room which was not special. Wish we hadn't booked ahead as at least I would have been able to walk out and go to somewhere better. Cleaner threw away things that we needed E.G. camera bag and plonked stuff in cases that had been neatly laid out on chair to avoid creasing.

Located in a bad area, but close to the tourist area. Staff were helpful.
Charge a half night's rent to check in early(2 hours). Very old, carpet felt crunchy when walked on and shower had mold, rooms very small, safe didn't work properly, don''t supply kleenex in room, to get to the tourist area was a little scary at night.
